The fire from within
from the bottom
makes its way up
the sensitive tube

the nerves freak out
sending a message
at 200 miles per hour

The muscles tighten
the teeth clench
the sweat beads
the pain surfaces

because I deserve it?

From wake to sleep
the esophageal vortex
erupts and sears
like bleach on a cut

Relief is when
food is thrown
down the hole
as it meets the

Same fate as my
stomach..............
a swirling cesspool
of turmoil
