AVATAR

As she walks this world she does not know
How her being affects mine so
And the words she utters like gold in my ear
The divine presence I feel when she's near

Every goddess should be as lucky as her
To have a worshiper so pure
So that every breath I take I think of the goddess
And the smooth painted skin I might never caress

To be in her thought pleases me immensely
Abandonment depresses me intensely
My wish to walk alongside
Her divine secrets in me confide.

A dream she seems content to allow
Like it might happen someday somehow
I might forget the strife
Of the existence I have called Life

To walk as in equal in the shadow of a goddess
Makes one think they are just as flawless
And for me, the Fenris Hound
I would follow her faithfully unbound

For now my feelings are elated
As her glow is she has underrated
In her aura my life's mood has improved
Many of my fears and worries removed

Although she's so far away
