The keys dangle, and jingle, as I walk amongst the stones. There is no light, and right below my feet are the bones of souls past. Aghast at the eternity that is as empty as the void. The hopes and dreams, it seems that all to come has been destroyed. I walk and dig the holes so big. I am the keeper of the yard. So cold, so stiff, I struggle with the corpse whose life was hard. The casket is in. The night has been completed with a pile of dirt. I stop and get a cigarette from the pocket of my shirt. You may ask as I drink my flask why at night I drone. I don't care, the night is over, and now, I can go home.
