broken glass, metal,
and despair

Broken dreams
and forgotten
happiness

Miles and miles
of filth, dust, dirt
refuse

As still
and silent
as the grave

Anguish that is
worse than
chewing on

Splintered wood
before washing
the mouth with peroxide

No one hears
no one knows
just me

Left here to rot
until more
